Breastfeeding Penguins

The best part about having one child about to enter college and one entering first grade the same year is the conversations I get to witness.

This is an exchange I was privy to between Justine (6) and Jordan (18)...

"What's breastfeeding?"

"Well, what does it sound like?"

"Um... is it like ... um... like when penguins chew up their food and feed it to their babies?"

"Well, do you do that with your breasts?"

"What are breasts?"

"Boobies..."

Silence...

Disgust...
