What's your name?
Names are new to Josh and Jameson. We try to prepare them before they meet new people by helping them learn and pronounce names. We had our good friends Jeff and Charity over tonight. Josh and Jameson had met them a couple of times, but it had been several months. We kept saying, "Jeff and Charity are coming at 6:30pm." They practiced and knew how to say their names, and had an idea who they were.
Later in the day, Jameson says,
"So when are Chuck and Wheezy going to be here?"
And so it is. They will now be known as Chuck and Wheezy.

Close friends of ours named Phil and Trish one night morphed into Fish and Trill. Now everyone calls them that. I don't think they'll ever forgive us.
